Since 1995 The French Pantry has run out of a modest Powers Avenue warehouse, baking bread that half of Jacksonville plans its lunch hour around. Sandwiches come on baguettes pulled from the oven that morning, the pastry case is worth the detour on its own, and the line is part of the ritual. Lunch only — get there early.
